Repair Enquiry Checklist

When enquiring about repairing your jewellery, please make sure you follow our checklist below to help us provide an accurate initial quote.

01. Clear Photography

Make sure you take clear, in-focus photos of the damaged areas. Provide images of the damage from multiple angles.

02. Estimated Measurements

Providing measurements is tricky at home, but giving us an accurate gauge can make all the difference in pricing how much metal we may need to add.

PLEASE NOTE: We will quote for and carry out all the necessary work to fix your piece. Be prepared that some pieces, particularly old items, are sometimes not fixable. We reserve the right not to work on your piece if we feel it is not safe to do so. You will be notified of all work before it is carried out. We only take hallmarked silver repairs.

What is pulse-arc laser welding for jewellery repair?

Unlike traditional open-flame soldering which heats the entire ring, microscopic pulse-arc laser welding allows us to pinpoint intense heat to a fraction of a millimeter. This advanced technology enables us to repair heat-sensitive antiques, rebuild claws near fragile emeralds, and resize rings without removing the gemstones.
